Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis (PVNS)

Diffuse swelling around joints with reddish-brown discoloration on imaging.

Joint pain, stiffness, and swelling; can lead to joint destruction over time.

Rare benign proliferative disorder affecting synovium in joints or tendons.

Synovectomy (surgical removal of affected synovium). Recurrence rate: ~45% for diffuse type without adjuvant therapy.
