Dupuytren’s Contracture Nodules
Firm nodules under the skin of the palm; may form cords over time.
Painless initially but can limit finger extension as cords develop.
Benign thickening of palmar fascia leading to contractures (inability to straighten fingers).
Surgical release (fasciectomy) or enzyme injection for contractures. Recurrence rate: ~20-40%.
